Treatment method for oil leakage of generator body

During prolonged use, diesel generator sets may experience a certain degree of oil leakage due to the machinery being exposed to high temperatures for extended periods and corrosion from the oil. So, how can we address the issue of generator oil leakage?

If the generator is in operation, it is necessary to first shut it down and wait for the temperature of the engine body to drop below 20 degrees Celsius to avoid burns during the removal process.

2. Prepare the corresponding cloth to clean up the oil leakage area, observe the leakage situation at the leakage point, and after finding the leakage, prepare the corresponding rubber gasket for replacement.

When replacing the cylinder block gasket of the generator, care should be taken to maintain the cleanliness of the steel gasket surface as much as possible, to avoid the recurrence of oil leakage caused by uneven surfaces.

After replacement, the cylinder block should be cleaned with clear water to keep the exterior clean and prevent fires caused by oil leakage from the engine.
